Police in Lowell, Massachusetts were attempting to locate a
four-year-old boy who went missing from his foster home Saturday
morning.

Police said Jordan Luciano was with his biological mother, but were
still trying to locate the pair Saturday night. The boy was with his
mother in Boston, according to police, who do not think he is in danger.
Police in were joined by officers from throughout the region -- an
all day search of the neighborhood surrounding 110 Fayette Street --
looking for a missing 4-year-old boy wearing Spiderman pajamas.
Jordan Luciano had been living in a foster home for the last month.
He was last seen there at 9:45 Saturday morning, but was not reported missing to police until more than an hour after that.
Soon after, officers from NEMLEC, the Northeastern Massachusetts Law
Enforcement Council, searched on foot with the help of dogs, casing the
Lower Belvidere neighborhood, talking to residents several blocks from
where the boy was last seen.
They put out reverse 911 calls to people living in the area.
It now appears the boy is no longer in the city.
"We have a witness that saw the mother take that child today, place
him in a cab and we believe they've gone to Boston," Captain Kelly
Richardson said.
Richardson said Jordan's mother told police that her son was not with her because she was working in Chelmsford.
Her story did not check out.

A search was underway Saturday afternoon in Lowell, Massachusetts for a missing four-year-old boy.
Jordan Luciano was last seen at his foster home around 9:45 Saturday
morning, and reportedly wandered off dressed in his Spiderman pajamas.
Police said he was not reported missing until about an hour afterward.
Police dogs and search crews were brought in to help find the young boy.
Police confirmed on Saturday evening that Luciano was likely unharmed and with his birth mother in Boston.
"We have been in contact with Boston PD, and they are currently
trying to help us locate this child now," Captain Kelly Richardson
said. "This is a custody issue with the mother. The child was in
Department of Family Services custody and put into a foster home. We
have a witness that saw the mother take that child today, place him in
a cab and we believe they've gone to Boston."
The name of Luciano's mother was not released by police.

Police in Lowell announced that the search for a 4-year-old boy
declared missing on Saturday morning ended at around 9 p.m. when he was
discovered in Boston.
Officers believe the boy's mother kidnapped him this morning from his Lowell foster home.
"This is a custody issue with the mother," said Lowell Police Capt.
Kelly Richardson. "The child was in Department of Family Services
Custody and put into a foster home, and we have a witness who saw the
mother take that child today, place him in a cab, and we believe
they've gone to Boston."
Police say the boy, Jordan Luciano, is being evaluated at a
Boston-area hospital and is in the custody of the Mass. Department of
Children and Families.
He was reported missing by his foster father at around 11 a.m.
Saturday morning and was last seen wearing red and blue Spiderman
pajamas.
Luciano's mother will likely face felony kidnapping charges.
