SIRMARCUS SYKES - 13 yo - Centreville IL

IL Police are asking for help in locating a 13 year old boy. Sirmarcus
Sykes went missing Friday. His mother says he never got on his bus
leaving Clark Middle School. She's spent the past 24 hours searching
for her son. Syke's aunt, Mashunda Burgess, says, "Friends say they saw
him after school but he hasn't returned home and we just want people to
know if you seen him just let us know."

Police have not issued an Amber Alert but are asking for help in
locating the missing teen. You can reach Centreville Police at

yes, he has made it home safe. apparently he went to his friends house pretended to be calling and talking to his mom. told his friends mom that his mother had no gas to come and get him. when his friends mother offered to take him home, he lied and told her his aunt was coming to get him. and he would walk the neighborhood until his aunt come to pick him up. his friends mother didnt think any funny because these types of things happens all the time in this neighborhood, where parents just dont care about their children. it didnt seem a problem to her until he didnt want to go home on sunday with school being on monday and she hadnt look at the news that weekend, so all of you all prayers were answered and may god bless you guess also

i want to find another source before i move him to the found section.
