Law enforcement officials in Yerington are looking for a teen boy from Fernley who has been missing for over a week.

Rael Ayotte has been missing since September 28, when he had an
argument with his girlfriend. Ayotte had been in Yerington since Sept.
25, staying with friends, and was supposed to return to Fernley last
weekend, but never showed up, police said.Police are saying Ayotte likely ran away.
Ayotte is 17 years old, 5-foot-7 and 130 pounds. He has brown hair and blue
eyes. He was last seen wearing a brown Guinness t-shirt, blue denim

A former Yerington School student hasn't been heard from since Sept. 27
after a visit to Yerington and the Yerington Police Department is
asking for the public's help in finding him.Rael
Ayotte, 17, moved to Fernley from Yerington last spring, reported
Yerington Police Department investigating officer Trinity Erickson, and
returned to Yerington at the end of September for a weekend visit with
friends.His family told law enforcement Ayotte, nicknamed "Pole", left Fernley for
Yerington on Sept. 25 and was due to return at about 7 p.m. on Sunday,
Sept. 27. However, he didn't return home and hasn't been seen since,
Erickson said.The YPD released a TRAK missing juvenile advisory Tuesday night with basic
details and a photo of the teenager that was issued to print and
broadcast media seeking the public's help. Anyone with information
about Ayotte is asked to call the YPD at (775) 463-2332.Erickson
said at this point Ayotte, described as 5-feet-7-inches and 130 pounds
with light brown hair and blue eyes, is considered a juvenile runaway.
Law enforcement is unsure of his whereabouts but suspects he might be
in the Fernley or Yerington area.The YPD was contacted and is in charge of the investigation since he was last seen in Yerington over that weekend.Ayotte
was last seen wearing wearing a brown Guinness t-shirt, blue denim
shorts or jeans, and white tennis shoes with red and black emblems.Ayotte
reportedly was upset after an argument with a girlfriend, although the
YPD said he wasn't violent and didn't make a scene.Erickson
said they have interviewed Ayotte's friends but they haven't led to
finding the youth, although they are still gathering evidence."We've followed up with every lead possible," he said.The YPD officer said Ayotte doesn't have a vehicle and didn't have a
vehicle with him when he was visiting Yerington, and thus could be on

The 17-year-old former Yerington resident who didn't return to his
Fernley home after a weekend visit to Yerington late last month was
found last Friday.
In addition, three local residents were also arrested on charges of
obstructing and delaying a police investigation, a misdemeanor,
reported YPD Chief Darren Wagner.Rael Ayotte was reported missing after not returning home Sept. 27, and the YPD has investigated his disappearance since then.Wagner
said Ayotte was found hiding in a crawl space at an apartment complex
in Yerington; and around the same time, two Yerington men and a female
juvenile were arrested.As of Tuesday, Darren Holland, 21, of Yerington remained in Lyon County
Jail on bail of $2,264 on an obstructing and delaying charge, along
with another charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.David
McElroy, 20, of Yerington, also remained in custody as of Tuesday
afternoon on bail of $1,132 on obstructing and delaying charges, and a
17-year-old female also faced a juvenile status offense charge in
connection with the case.Wagner indicated the three were charged because they were acquainted with
Ayotte, had been questioned in the course of the investigation and the
YPD believes they were not forthcoming with officers.
