JAMAR PINKNEY Jr. - 15 yo - Highland Park IL

A day after a 15-year-old was found dead in a field and his father
held in the slaying, relatives spoke of how the teen spent the last
moments of his life naked, kneeling on the ground outside of a house
with his father pointing a gun at his head. On Monday, the teen
-- whom relatives identified as Jamar Pinkney Jr. -- apparently had
argued with his 37-year-old father, said his aunt, Yolanda Cherry. Tensions quickly escalated. At one point, the suspect even pointed a gun at Cherry, she said.
Shortly after, police say, the man
marched his son out of the home near Rosa Parks Boulevard and, as the
teen begged for his life, shot him in the head, execution style. Jamar
died from the wound. His father likely will be arraigned today in the death of his son. Wayne
County prosecutors received a request for an arrest warrant Tuesday
afternoon, but a review of the request pushed an arraignment back until
this morning, officials said. Highland Park police officials
declined to comment on the case Tuesday, saying only that the shooting
occurred after an argument between the suspect and his son. Attorneys Corbett O'Meara and David Draper represent the father. Neither would talk about the case Tuesday at the Highland Park police station and courthouse. Meanwhile,
Jamar's body had not yet been turned over to a funeral home Tuesday,
the Wayne County Medical Examiner's Office said. Two stuffed
animals lay in the lot near the spot where the teen was slain. Pieces
of police tape and what appeared to be dried blood stains were visible
near the toys. Friends and relatives gathered at a home nearby. Visitors declined comment and Jamar's mother was too shaken to talk.

felony. Pinkney’s lawyer said he plans to file a notice of insanity
defense saying that Pinkney snapped when he shot his son Jamar Pinkney
Jr. in the head at close range on Nov. 16.
“There is no sane reaction to the rape of a child,” said
Pinkney’s lawyer, Corbett O’Meara, after the hearing. “His son
confessed rape, actual rape, of his toddler sister.”
Pinkney acted “under heat of passion,” O’Meara said and should
be found “not guilty by reason of insanity” or found guilty of
manslaughter. No evidence of sexual penetration was introduced at
today’s hearing despite testimony about the girl being taken to
Children’s Hospital of Michigan in Detroit a day before the shooting.
O’Meara said that the defense would introduce medical reports
that indicated the girl had evidence of vaginal tearing. He said Jamar
Jr. had at first denied he molested the girl then later said he only
lay on top of her but they had their clothes on.
O’Meara said the teen finally admitted to his father that he
had vaginal sex with the girl and Pinkney snapped when he heard it. He said his client is now “devastated” and under the care of a
psychiatrist at the Wayne County jail where he is being held without
bond. “He doesn’t understand how any of this could have happened,” O’Meara said.

calm to crazy and out of control the day he beat his 15-year-old son,
stripped him naked then fatally shot him in the head after his son had

called Dearing soon after the shooting.

evidence of penetration or other physical trauma when the girl was
examined at Children's Hospital.The first witness, Yolanda Cherry, the teen's aunt,
wept as she took the stand. She testified that a three-hour family
meeting about the alleged molestation ended with the teen being beaten,
kicked and stripped by his father.Cherry said she tried to stop the beating, but the
father pulled a gun and said: "(Expletive), you want some of this, too?"She said she ran to a
neighbor's home to call police when she heard a gunshot. She found her
nephew naked in the lot and took his hand pleading: "Hold on, baby.""I put my hand back on
his heart, and it stopped," she testified.

After three days of heart-wrenching testimony, a Wayne County Circuit
Court jury took 2 hours and 50 minutes to convict Jamar Pinkney Sr. of
second-degree murder Thursday for fatally shooting his son because the
boy allegedly molested his half sister.
Pinkney, who also was convicted of three counts of assault and using a
firearm in a felony, faces a life prison term, with the possibility of
parole, at his April 15 sentencing by Judge Brian Sullivan.Pinkney, 38, was
charged with first-degree murder. The jury was given the option of
manslaughter. But jury foreperson Abby Whitford said the debate was
focused on "whether or not he could control it at the time."No matter the limit of
his self-control, "he still needs to be held accountable," said
Whitford, 21, of Southgate."We all felt very strongly on murder," she said,
noting the initial vote was 10-2 for first-degree murder.The panel agreed with
the two members insisting on second-degree after reinstruction on
intent, she said.Whitford
said she and the other jurors found the testimony followed them from
the courtroom and crowded out their sleep: "And in the last four days, I
think I ate maybe three meals."Pinkney testified he had an out-of-body experience
last November when he beat, stripped and marched Jamar Pinkney Jr., 15,
into a vacant lot and shot him in the face at point-blank range. He said
he lost control when his son allegedly confessed to trying to have sex
with his 3-year-old half sister.But the boy's mother, Lazette Cherry, said he admitted
only to "humping on" the child.Examination by two doctors found no sure evidence of
penetration."Every time you think you've heard the worst case possible, something comes
along that's even worse," said prosecutor Christine Kowal. "This one was
almost surreal."Kowal said the family was "a little puzzled by the second-degree verdict,"
but they are "pleased he's being held accountable."Defense attorney Corbett Edge O'Meara said the
verdict was a victory "because Jamar Pinkney won't have to die in
prison."O'Meara explained his client's detached courtroom demeanor: "Mr. Pinkney is an
essentially dead human being since that day in November. Now he can begin to heal."

A Detroit area father who shot his 15-year-old son to death after the teen admitted molesting a 3-year-old girl has received 37 to 80 years in prison.
Jamar Pinkney Sr. of Highland Park was sentenced Thursday by Wayne
County Circuit Judge Brian Sullivan in the Nov. 16 death of Jamar
Pinkney Jr.


He was convicted April 1 of second-degree murder.
Defense attorney Corbett Edge O'Meara says the 37-year-old Pinkney
won't be eligible for parole until 2046. O'Meara says he is disappointed
with the sentence and expects Pinkney to appeal.
O'Meara argued the father, enraged after his son's
admission, couldn't control himself when witnesses say he forced the
teen to strip, marched him to an empty lot and shot him in the head.

I want to first say, I am the mother of the little girl and I would greatly appreciate for things to be said accurately if it is indeed going to be posted. Things on these forums get so twisted because it is truly,second hand information. I would like to clear up some facts for the record. There was true evidence of sexual abuse found on my daughter via her pediatrician. The ER doctor at CH of M stated for the record, that it is very possible he could have overlooked the tear that was found on her. He also testified that he sees about 20-30 patients a day and he doesn't even remember her and then at the same time, can tell the prosecutor which parent he spoke to the night in question. Hmm, how is this possible if he doesn't remember her? Her doctor stated for the record that he's been knowing her since birth, he knows her very well, and that he did a very thorough exam on her which he did and discovered a laceration on her vestibular fossa. Now, get ready for this, the ER doctor stated for the record that there are two places for the vestibular fossa, the upper and lower part of the vagina. Thus, keep in mind that he's only been practicing medicine 16 years. When my daughters doctor gets on the stand he corrects the era of the ER doctor and states for the record, and by the way, has been a doctor 43 years that there is only one part of the vagina that is considered to be the vestibular fossa. Secondly, JP Sr., told the court how detailed his son was with the information he received from him and he didn't use the word "humping" as stated here in this forum. He said he stuck his penis in my baby's vagina. Any other questions you have or any other information you want for accuracy, just ask! Please do not get second hand information, try to post it, and then post it inaccurately Mr. TomTerrific!

I am truly not taking this out on you personally, but i wish people would stop taking that word, "humping" as though it can only mean with your clothes on as Ms Cherry stated. If that young man had his clothes on, my daughter would not have had a laceration,tear,cut,etc.,and maybe we would all be happy.Hell, if our parents didn't do any humping, we wouldn't be here now would we? Unfortunately, everyone in this has suffered some sort of consequences in all of this. The prosecutor had the audacity to say that she feels that Jamar Jr. did a bad thing to my baby and then turned around to imply that she scratched herself from having a UTI in which she was not being treated for, neither had any symptoms of such illness. How dumb is that?

This is to the mother of the three year old girl who was allegedly molested. Never once since this story has broke has this information you provided on this forum ever came to life for the media. Even if what you are saying is true I believe Jamar Sr sentencing would have been much different. There is something fishy to me about what you are saying for the simple fact you are the only one who said it. My other question would be why come on this forum and try to clear the air or what ever it was you were trying to do? For someone who's daughter who was penetrated as you say your daughter was why are we just now hearing from you? I would have been in front of the cameras from day one stating what this deceased young man had done to my daughter. I have kept up with this story from day one and not once did I hear these findings you say the doctor recanted meaning your daughter was actually penetrated. This is really strange to me that's all I am saying. Also it really matters not what people may feel by what I am saying but I feel I have asked some legitimate question. I am not the one who has to live with what happened to Jamar Jr., you Jamar Sr., and the rest of the family do. How ever I do hope life can go on for you and your daughter what ever kind of life that may be, but I know for a fact this will never go away. I am also happy with the sentencing of Jamar Sr. Personally I wish they would have locked him up for the rest of his natural life. I also hope you and Jamar Sr. can sleep at night by what has happened. Sweet dreams. Just to be clear until your post I never heard a comment from you that's why this is very strange to me. I also hope you stick by your man after all he has done.

I am a man who will admit when he is wrong, and that's what I am doing at this time. I read the story and had to read it again. I now understand how the reports of the doctors went, but some of the other questions I posed is still a mystery to me. I will also stand by my statement I wish they would have locked Jamar Sr. up for the rest of his life, because it was your doctors opinion vs. the Er doctor. I still believe this could have been handled differently.

Very well said Tom T. Thank you for all you do here at J4C. What a horrible story this is!

First I would like to extend my heart felt sorrow over what happened to your little girl. It is my first time ever hearing about this case and I have read the postings printed thus far. It should be noted that not all information presented in court or by the media is accurate or full disclosure. I have worked with toddler and children of various ages victims of molestation and the actual perpetrators and some of the circumstances are too horrific for the average man to even fathom. It is my first time on any blog but I felt compelled to inform a population still ignorant on pedophilia that this act can be perpetrated by children against children. I can and do imagine the horror you are facing for while Pinkney Jr. is gone your daughter faces a life time of psychological and emotional scarring and the out come of this trauma is still unknown. Thus I pray that via good psychological treatment that she heals properly and has a fulfilled life.
To the victims mother I am ever so sorry for your loss. I am a mother and regardless of the circumstances, losing a child is the most devastating event that could happen in ones life and the loss of a child is both unbearable and irreplaceable. This is truly a tragedy for all parents involved.
I suspend all judgement on Pinkney Sr.. No One wakes up to such horrific news with intent to kill ones own child. This man had to be in a blind rage and torn between his bond to both children and opted to protect his youngest victim child by removing who he felt was responsible for her rape. Under these catastrophic circumstances a protective parent is capable of anything. I beg our heavenly father I am never tested that way. Please remember this man is already living in his own hell regardless of his sentencing, because he took his sons life and he seems quite cognizant of that now. Kaivey even though I'm so sorry for your daughter and what happened to her as a mother you knew exactly the state of mind of your man before he went to his son's home. He did a terrible thing and we all know this but your statements have not been proven because if they were others besides yourself would know it. That makes you feel better or justify what your man did to say this boy had intercourse with her. It was heart breaking to hear JP Sr attempted to call you after shooting his own son to tell you he had taken care of the problem. YOU AS A MOTHER should know even faced with what you were faced with the answer wasn't to kill this boy. I was abused as a child myself and I have forgiven and had a very happy life. I haven't forgotten but I did forgive. We were kids ourselves and sometimes the best decisions are not made when you are children. I wouldn't have wished this on my worst enermy. Your baby will suffer more knowing her father is away in jail and her brother KILLED in such a horrible way. GOD how can you sleep at night.

O.K. so I am sitting here watching IN SESSION on Tru tv. I am watching testimony in this case. It seems that just months before this killing Jamar Sr took out life insurance policies on both of his children. He was the beneficiary and I agree that this is not unusual as many parents have policies on their children. The amount was minimal, only $10,000 which is about what it costs in my area to hold a lower end funeral and burial. However, I just heard something very disturbing. I direct this next part to @Kaivey and ask for an explanation as she has joined this forum and went on to describe how no one knows the whole story. I ask you @Kaivey why is it the same day that this young man was savagly killed by his own father why is it that you promptly caled the insurance company trying to collect on the policy? I would venture to say this is a very inhumane act not to mention it seems it could even be considered insurance fraud as I am sure that you really wouldn't expect the insurance company to pay off on this policy where the beneficiary murdered the insured? My heart does go out to your daughter. However, I still find the actions of Jamar Sr. and yourself irreprehensible. How dare you try to profit from such tragic events. If your daughter was your main and only concern what prompted you to contact the insurance agent to try and collect on this policy?

@TT'S MOM...I was also watching Insession today, and nearly lost it when the life insurance was brought up. I actually have the exact same Life Insurance policy as Jamar Sr, and it is with Primerica-just like Jamar Sr. In his defense I will say this. He didn't go to the insurance agent and specifically purchase insurance for his son-neither did I. Just like the agent explained on the stand-when you purchase a policy for yourself they automatically offer a policy for your child for a very small amt of money a month-his was six dollars and some change. This is sold to you under the pretense of ever having to pay for your child's funeral! It's only 10k, which will barely cover the casket and funeral.To be honest with you, I thought it came with the insurance I purchased-that's how little thought I gave to it, as I found it odd to have insurance on a child. Being that Jamar Sr had a new baby, and his baby's mother already had insurance with Primerica, it makes PERFECT sense that she would want Jamar Sr to line his ducks and prepare for his daughters future.Now, for those who may ask why the daughter's mother called the insurance agent instead of Jamar Jr's mother. Well, she already knew the agent, and had a professional relationship with him, and second, Jamar Sr was the person who took out the policy, and since he was in jail, he couldn't call, and Jamar Jr is still gone, and still needs a FUNERAL! At first when I heard about the insurance, I admit, I thought what the prosecution wanted us to think-that Jamar was murdered for the piddly life insurance. Now, I believe Jamar was murdered because he disrespected his baby sister. It had nothing to do with money.

I am not implying that he was murdered for money and I have no issue with the policy being in place anyway. I stated this in my post because it was such a small amount it was nothing out of the normal. My issue was with the fact that the girlfriend called the insurance agent the same day trying to collect on the policy. First of all anyone would have to be stupid to think that an insurance company would pay off in that situation and secondly when the prosecutor asked the agent who would be the beneficiary of the policy if Jamar sr were dead it was the girlfriend. I do not think anyone in their right mind would believe that she would be the one the one paying for a funeral. Jamar Jr allegedly molested the younger child in turn being murdered by his father and the girlfriends first thought is to call the insurance agent (not the day after or week after but on the same day he was killed) to try and collect. I am sorry but I really can not empathize with the father I just can't understand how he could look his son in the eyes and shoot him point blank in the face killing him. His son was pleading and begging for forgiveness, as a father he should have let justice in the court room prevail. It would have been much more beneficial to everyone involved.
I would also like to point out that children who committ sexual offenses are not "born this way" sexual predation is a learned behavior. If this boy committed sex crimes against his sister I would bet 1 million dollars that I don't have that he either was a) sexually abused himself or b) witnessed sexual abuse. Either way his abuser will never recieve the justice they deserve because of the events that transpired. I am in no way defending sexual abuse but I do have a different way of looking at things when the predators are children. I also find it suspicious that the sexual abuse evidence was not present until the day after the killing. People can say what they want about the ER doctor the mother mentioned that he had been practicing medicine for "only 16 years". 16 years in any field is nothing to scoff at. This little girl was brought to the ER for the purpose of a sexual abuse exam not because she was sick etc. I do have confidence that a doctor of 16 years would know what to look for in trying to prove or disprove pentration of some sort. Furthermore it was never proved that the boy was sexually abusing his sister. I know people are going to say he admitted to it. However, there are different versions of his so called confession and it is well known that children will cave and confess to things even if they didn't do it when they are under intense pressure, scared, believe that confession (even false) will make things easier, covering for someone etc.......If this were not true then law enforcement would be able to interogate children without parents and/or attorney's present. There have been many crinimal cases were confessions were thrown out of court because law enfrocement did not follow proper protocol while interrogating a child.
I am not down playing the severity of this case at all from any angle. I would be distraught if I found out one of my children had been molested. I still could not imagine killing my own child in cold blood. Jamar Sr. had time to think about his actions. If what I read was true and I understood correctly he didn't rush right over after the phone call and snap killing his son, he waited I believe I read 20 hours passed before he came to "talk" to his son. Why didn't he call law enforcement if he believed his son had done this? The boy's mother obivously felt that something had to be done when she told his dad that it couldn't be swept under the rug. Of course she had no idea he would kill their son. It seems everyone is ready to convict this boy and he is not here to defend the allegations. He is not here because his father felt that it was his duty to remove him from this life.
Please re-read my previous post. It is plainly stated that what I am accusing the girlfriend of is being inhumane and trying to collect off of an insurance policy that she nor the father had a right to. I am explicity stating however that in my opinion Jamar Sr. is guilty of nothing less than murder. You have to be pretty cold and calculating to look your own child in the eye while he is begging and pleading with you and still pull the trigger and take his life. As serious as sexual allegations are do not let them cloud the fact of the crime the accussed is on trial for. I can not imagine being in the same situation but I can tell you one thing there is no way in HELL that I could kill my own child in cold blood.

Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES do I condone the shooting of Pinkney Jr. REPEAT I DO NOT SUPPORT Pinkney Jr. being executed by his father or anyone else. However, there seems to be a gross oversight in the age difference that existed between a 15 year old molesting a 3 year old. He was a teenage boy not a child as he is depicted here by other writers as if he were a 5 or7 year old clueless kid. Regardless of whether there was penetration or dry humping, it is very disturbing that a teenage boy would be experimenting with a baby and call it a "kids mistake" as a previous blogger did when referring to Pinkney Jr. I agree with our current writer that we will never know where this behavior came from, for it is known that often times sexual molesters are not born but made and were victims themselves or had witnessed victimization. Questions for his mother to ponder.... Although the loss of a child under such violent circumstances eclipses whatever other issues may have been there.
I am also annoyed that because the ER doctor practiced for 16 years he provided poor patient care. It's a mute point!. A doctor of 16 or 46 years can miss important information, I am well acquainted with the medical field to know so and mal practice by a physician is harder to prove than insanity because the medical field can insulate its own! More important is the fact that he was an ER doctor not a pediatric specialist who may or may not have known what to look for in the genitalia of a baby toddler who was sexually traumatized. By the way have you ever been in an ER room. It is not like on TV. It is a setting specifically designed to patch you up, spit you out so as to make room to stabilize the critically ill or dying.
One has to wonder where the tears in this toddler genitalia came from? The belief of a son molesting his sister would speak to this father acting so murderous, even 20 hours later. Sometimes people stew before they murder. either way many lives were lost here Pinkney Jr, was given a death sentence leaving his mom with perhaps guilt that she bought the father into the situation that led to his death at dads hands. The toddler lost her innocence and who knows what long term repercussions will come of this and Pinkney Sr. lost his soul as he murdered his boy. This is truly a tragic situation for all involved.

I agree with what you have said Lourdes. I would also like to point out that I am still watching this trial on In Session an I do have to cry foul on the part of the mother who posted (Kaivey). She has told some out right lies regarding the ER doctors testimony. One of which is that he ever mentioned her in his testimony. He did say that he does not recall them in the ER that night. But he is also reading from the charts which state as he testified that the dr spoke with the father (Jamar Sr.) not the mother as she says he testified. The testimony regarding the vestibular (srry do not want to mess up spelling) he does not really say there are two parts, the judge interprets it that way. He says that the diagram presented does not accurately dipict the entire area as the arrow is only pointing to one particular spot instead of the entire area. He also states in beginning testimony that he sees on average 3-4 children a month regarding sexual abuse. I do realize that dr's make mistakes as well however it seems to me that this dr would know what to look for regarding sexual abuse, he testifies from the chart that he told the father it was possible that touching could have happened but there were no signs of penetration (i.e. tearing). It seems to me that a dr who sees children regarding sexual abuse on a much too frequent basis (as 1 child is too frequent) that he would be able to identify tearing if present. He also stated from the chart that the father stated that nothing physical had been seen before. I would like to know why if these people had such a lack of confidence in the ER why did they not go to their pediatrician to start with? I have not read a reasoning. I just find it wierd that a laceration was found the day after the killing (in my opinion the trip to peditrician was made because of the killing as from what I have read there were no concerns expressed regarding the ER dr exam until after the killing. I read in one article that the 3 yr olds mother told Jamar jr's mother that nothing was found and there was no mention of concern about this diagnosis. Regardless however Jamar Jr was still a child (even at 15) this does not excuse the fact that if he did something he knew it was wrong but I still stand by the fact that this is a learned behavior. The sexual abuse allegations are very serious. However, they still were not proved beyond a shadow of a doubt. I would venture to say that that from the testimony I am witnessing that if a trial were held right now that Jamar Jr would be found not guilty. Regardless of his age I am 100% positive that his alledged confession does not hold any weight because of the reasons stated in my previous post regarding child confessions. It seems to me however that everyone wants to focus on whether or not Jamar Jr was guilty this is a moot point. As the "defendent" is not here to defend himself. This case is not about convicting Jamar jr for sexual abuse but rather determining an outcome for punishment for the killing of Jamar Jr. So far watching the coverage of the trial and everything I have read I still say it takes someone very cold hearted to do what Jamar Sr has done.

Lourdes I would also like to ask where you see in this forum that someone wrote that the alleged sexual abuse regarding the 3 yr old and Jamar jr as being referred to as a "kid's mistake" as you have quoted?

My 2 cents:
Having watched ( and I guess it will continue into next week ) the testimony in this trial I have some observations.
~ The boy did "something". An ER doc just commented that "not always" are there "visible" signs of rape...or "penetration of the hymen". The boy did something. He admitted it, the little girl indicated it both verbally and physically.
~ Jamar Sr was way overboard in his reaction to this and didn't stand a chance on the "moment of passion" defense. I feel he's the type of guy who keeps bad things bottled up inside and this was the "last straw" for his son. I would be willing to bet that this was not the first time that he had big trouble with his young son. Very little has come out about the prior relationship between the two. Nonetheless, his "over the top" reaction was unnecessary. More peaceful endings could have happened.
~ This is sad. Many lives have been changed, deeply, dramatically and permanently because of what happened last November. In my mind, they are all victims.

Greetings ttsmom, In response to the comment that "kids make mistakes", it was not on this site and I do apologize for that error on my part. As I originally mentioned I had never heard of this case before and was horrified and saddened by a fathers execution of his son. In an attempt to gather as much detail as possible I have since read a lot of information as well as varying opinions all over the internet (which I realize can be a problem) . I really appreciate you sharing your information as it sheds light on details regarding the medical state of the toddler and TIMING which is interesting to say the least. I still believe that mistakes can be made medically I have witnessed it first hand with seasoned doctors, with stellar reputations and years of experience as well as novices in the field (by the way 16 years is no novice). However, sexual trauma of young children is particularly delicate and it really takes a doctor who SPECIALIZES in this area so that at least there is less risk of human error although nothing is risk free . That aside, as these are legal proceedings each expert will stand by what they said. Most important however is the time line you have laid out in your response, I now have to seriously question the integrity of statements made as to when and what type of injury was discovered on the baby. Thus, what you mentioned cannot be ignored.
Having said that the bottom line is that you are RIGHT!!!, we SHOULD NOT lose sight that Pinkney senior is on trial for murdering his son!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. The price of taking his sons life is that now his freedom is gone. Perhaps we will never know all of the details in this case for after all only the people involved in this tragedy know each others history , their trigger points and the complexities of what exist in all families and what we call human behavior. But the FACT REMAINS that Pinkney Jr. death is a devastating loss for his mom, family and his community. I will sign off now by saying that while this case occurred sometime ago, it awakens the passion in anyone who has a heart and cares about children. I appreciate having a forum to express, exchange information and keep alive the unified sentiment that the death of Pinkney Jr. IS NOT CONDONED. There are some family dynamics going on here that are not being discussed. "Poison Ivy" stated "that because she had all girls, she never allowed any boys around them", but yet to show that she had no ill feelings for Jamar Jr., she claims to having had him over frequently for "Nachos", long hours of video game playing between him and his father, J. Sr., and other good times. The two statements are contradictory. She also stated that Jamar Sr. had chosen a good school for Jamar Jr. and was providing for his transport to and from that school. Jamar Sr. had a good job with the postal service and other lucrative venues, therefore he was the "Top Dog". I can imagine there was some "butt kissing" of this man from Monique Cherry and her family. Why else would she have him up all night cajoleing him to confess and calling his father at 3:AM to beg his forgiveness after no results had been found via the ER exam? Monique Cherry did not want to be cut off from the benefits and it backfired!! As for "Poison Ivy" the new or current woman always wants to feel superior to the Ex-woman. She want all the attention, loyalty, time and money expended solely for her and her's. I reasonably believe that after she demanded of Jamar Sr. that he "Do something about his son, and dont come back till you do"(reason he had to go and spend the night with his grandmother, who also hinted that Jamar Jr. was not allowed at "Poison Ivy's house), to further damage that relationship between the father and son, caused injury to her own little girl that was found two days latter. THAT'S WHY YOU HAD SO MANY ATTEMPTS,(how hard is it to get any office with today's phone technology), ON MONDAY MORNING, TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT BY "pOISON iVY", WHO WAS SO "DISTRAUT" ABOUT HER DAUGHTER and would not take her in to see the doctor the very next day regardless of what was going on,(she was worried about that being detected, her pediatrician did say that the lasceration was healing but according to the facts of when it happened it should have been more healed). So I say today Jamar Sr. is sitting there looking so detatched because he is wondering how he has let these two women play him to the point of taking his own son's life when Monique may have pressured a confession out of Jamar Jr. for her own purposes and Ivy had her own agenda, CONTROL! So Sad!!!!!!!

this incident is really sad, my heart goes out to the mother of jamar jr, the loss of a child is hard but God sees u and will take care of u... when we date men with children we should accept them as our own not have jealous feelings for them. I'm sorry for whatever happened to the little girl but it does not justify that man killing his son, as a mother myself i just feel like the situation could have been handled better, if he did call the mother of the little girl and say that "he handled that", she should feel ashamed and know that she has to face God one day for her part in this killing. How can u sleep at night knowing that u did nothing to offset what that man was abot to do, may God have mercy on both of ur souls, and remember "YOU REAP THE SEEDS THAT YOU SOW!!!!!!!
