SEAN WAGNER - 18 yo - Uniondale NY
As far as we know the last time any of his family or friends heard from
Sean Wagner was Thursday, Nov. 19th, 2009. The whole Wagner family has
been living with his unexpected disappearance since that day. It has
been an absolute nightmare for Sean’s father Rodger, grandmother Anne
and Grandfather George.
Due to a broken marriage, Anne and
George have been raising their three grandchildren for more than ten
years. Anne is a registered nurse and George has been a Con Edison
employee for 30 years. They are nearing retirement but will continue to
work to put their grandchildren through college.
Sean is in his
first semester at Nassau Community College and is one of the officers
of the Caribbean Club. He and his friends were preparing for a club
dance on Friday, Nov. 20th. Recently Sean joined another club at the
school and shared with his grandmother the demands on his time. For
some young adults it takes time to adjust to college life.
Sean
is 18 years old, 5’5” tall, weighing about 135-140 lbs., brown eyes,
black hair, brown skin. Had ten dollars in his pocket and does not own
a credit card. His cell phone is no longer working and did not return
any calls when it was. Sean lives in Uniondale with his brother and
sister in their grandparent’s home. His friends and teachers speak very
highly of Sean.
Ann and George are very active in their
community and are part of the Coalition of Community Well-Being, headed
up by Dr. Aubrey Lewis. They have a clinic on Hilton Ave. in Hempstead
open several days a week providing free health care for those who can’t
afford insurance. This very dedicated group of volunteers also hosts
health fairs in Nassau, Queens, and Suffolk Counties several times a
year.
Sean and his siblings take part in these events. When the
Coalition had a march (parade) to bring awareness of the lack of health
care in the Hempstead and surrounding community areas, Sean was on the
front line. This is a good kid.
We need help in finding Sean. We think help from the media is imperative.
Sean’s whole family is heart broken.
Please help us to bring awareness to our missing person, Sean Wagner. CALL 516-481-6746 OR 718-922-7421
