DYLAN THOMAS CARMICHAEL - 15 yo - Salisbury NC

Local authorities are asking for help in finding a missing Salisbury teen.

Dylan Thomas Carmichael, 15, of 1554 Oakridge Drive, has been missing since Wednesday.

He took his guitar and a military-style backpack with a few personal
items and left a note that he was running away due to problems at
schools.

The Rowan County Sheriff's Department has issued a missing child bulletin which is distributed nationally.

Capt. John Sifford said the teen was last seen wearing a brown/black
coat with blue jeans and a pair of brown Wolverine hiking boots.

His direction of travel is not known.

He is described as a white male, 5 feet, 9 inches tall, weighing 140
pounds. He has a scar on the center of his chest due to an injury.

A Salisbury teen who was reported missing last week has been found and returned home.

Last week, the Rowan County Sheriff's office issued a bulletin on Dylan
Thomas Carmichael, 15, of Oakridge Drive. He left home with a guitar
and a backpack.

He left a note saying he was running away due to problems at school.

Capt. John Sifford said Carmichael was found at Tinsletown at Innes Street Market on Faith Road. He was returned home.
