DENISE and SKYLER OAKS - 4 yo and 6 months - West Jordan UT

WEST JORDAN, Utah - Police are searching for an 18-year-old woman and
her two children who went missing from their West Jordan apartment. A
body of a 16-year-old girl was found by West Jordan Police Wednesday in
the same apartment that the missing woman, Brayley Oaks, and her two
children were renting. Detectives are awaiting autopsy results on the
body, but it appears the teen allegedly had an overdose on cocaine and
may have been dead for two days before someone called police.

The missing woman, Brayley Oaks, took her parent's minivan along with
her 6-month-old baby boy, Skyler and 4-year-old daughter Denise. Police
said Oaks is an adult legally permitted to have the minivan.

Oaks' mother Mary Gibbons believes her daughter may have panicked about
the body in her apartment and decided to flee to possibly avoid
criminal charges.

Gibbons is concerned about her daughter and the children.

"I am so in fear for these babies," said Gibbons. "I believe that she
does have them with her and that she probably wouldn't do any harm, but
yet part of me feels that maybe she has left them. I just don't really
believe for a minute that she would harm them. There's a possiblity
that they could be in the valley as well."

Police urge anyone who finds Oaks and her children to call police at 911.

OMG Brayley had her first when she was only 14 years old!!!! And now has another one and is still only 18. 18 year olds should not be thought capable of looking after 2 young children on their own. Especially when there is obviously going to be issues surrounding getting pregnant at 13 or 14 in the first place. Those poor children were behind the eightball before they even arrived in this world.

I would have thought it would be easy to find them if they are still in the USA. I expect she's not very bright. I'm amazed that the grandmother wasn't concerned about the children before they disappeared considering the situation they were living in and the drugs.
