“It holds a lot of fascination,” Pirro says during a stop in Central Florida. “You have what appears to be an intact family, a lovely mother and a beautiful child. When you peel back the layers of the case, the prosecutor feels it’s dysfunctional family with a murderous mother. It’s a horrific murder that goes against the grain of everything parenting stands for. I tried more than my share of child-abuse homicides. This one is particularly horrible.”
