BRANDON A TRAMMELL - 11 yo - St. Petersburg FL
After a cold night an 11 year old Brandon A. Trammell is still
missing and police are asking for the public's help in locating him.
Police tell us about 8:00pm Saturday,
Brandon got mad at his mother, Melissa, because he was not happy with
his haircut, so he stormed out of their home in the Glen Lakes
subdivision off of I-275, and Gandy Blvd North.
According to police the mother looked
for Brandon in the neighborhood, checked with all of his friends, then
called the police and reported him as a missing child. Brandon does
have a cell phone, but did not take it with him.
Brandon A. Trammell, White/Male, 11
years old, 5' 0" tall, 105 pounds, ear length sandy blonde hair, brown
eyes. He was last seen wearing a black, Northside Christian shirt; red
basketball shorts; and black socks with no shoes.
St. Petersburg Police Investigators
helped search the family home and the neighborhood before calling for
the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office helicopter, which searched the
neighborhood as well as Hillsborough County Sheriff's K-9 Bloodhound
with no results.
Anyone with information about Brandon should call our Communications Center at 727-892-7780.

ST. PETERSBURG — The 11-year-old boy who disappeared from his Glen
Lakes home Saturday night — which led to a massive search that included
a helicopter and bloodhounds — was found hiding in the garage.Brandon
A. Trammell was found Sunday morning among piles of furniture stored
inside the garage of his home, according to St. Petersburg police."It
appears that Brandon crept back inside the garage sometime during the
night or early morning," said Bill Proffitt, a police department
spokesman. Police say Brandon got upset with his mother,
Melissa Trammell, over a short haircut and stormed out of their home in
the Glen Lakes neighborhood sometime at about 8 p.m. Saturday."Brandon ran and jumped a fence to get away from his mother and family," police said. The neighborhood is east of Interstate 275 and just south of Gandy Boulevard. Melissa
Trammell told police that Brandon has a temper and that he has left the
house before, but never for more than 30 minutes before returning home.Melissa Trammell looked for him in the neighborhood, checked with his friends, then called police to report him missing.Brandon Trammell had a cell phone, but did not take it with him, police said."When
our officers arrived on the scene, they searched the entire house,
including the garage and the attic, before expanding their search to
the neighborhood and summoning the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office
helicopter and Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office bloodhound,"
Proffitt wrote in a press statement The bloodhound pointed
searchers to an intersection about a mile east of the subdivision, at
94th Avenue N and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Street N, but the track
ended there. Police then checked businesses in the area with no luck.At about 10:45 a.m. Sunday, calls went out over police scanners that he had been found.
