TANNER NORTON - 15 yo - Monmouth OR/Canada(Ontario) alerted

The Monmouth Police Department is asking for the public's help finding a
15-year-old boy who left home Thursday.

Tanner Norton left his
home after 8 p.m. wearing black pants, a black hooded sweatshirt and
black shoes and carrying a large, light-blue bag.



Norton is
described as about 5-feet-6, 120 pounds. He has hazel eyes, brown hair
and a scar on his right hand. He recently shaved his head.

Norton
told friends he planned to run away to live with an as-yet unidentified
girlfriend in Ontario, Canada.

Monmouth runaway who headed toward Canada returns home

A 15-year-old Monmouth boy who ran away from home has returned,
Monmouth police said today.

Tanner Norton called his parents about 6:30 p.m. Monday and asked them to pick him up in Portland.

Norton, who’d been missing since March 11, had told friends he planned to move
with to Canada to be with his girlfriend.
