AMESHIA "Mesha" HILL - 16 yo - Charleston WV

Charleston WV ---- The Kanawha County Sheriff's Office is searching for a
missing 16-year-old, according to a news release from Detective Pile,
Kanawha County Sheriff's Office. Ameshia "Mesha" Hill, 16, was last seen leaving Riverside High School on
April 7.


Hill is a black female of light complexion with long black hair. She is
5 feet 2 inches tall, 160 pounds. She was last seen wearing a red, short-sleeved shirt and blue jeans.
She also was last seen wearing red and black Nike tennis shoes. "Mesha" is from the Rand area but also visits the West Side of
Charleston. If you have any information, the Kanawha County Sheriff's Office is
asking you to contact Detective Pile at 304-357-0169.

The Kanawha County Sheriff's Office has found the 16-year-old that went
missing last week. Sheriff deputies told 13 News Ameshia "Mesha" Hill, 16, was found
unharmed Tuesday evening. She was last seen leaving Riverside High School on April 7.

Authorities have found 16-year-old girl missing from the Rand area
since last week.
Lt. Sean Crosier of the Kanawha County Sheriff's Department said Ameshia
"Mesha" Hill was found Tuesday evening at a fast food restaurant in
South Charleston after a family member tricked her into going there.

Crosier said the family member held Hill until police arrived.
Hill's mother said the girl skipped school at Riverside High School on
April 6 and never came home. The 16-year-old had been staying with
friends and family in the Rand area because she had been getting in
trouble in Maryland, where she and her mother had moved.
"Thank goodness she was just a runaway," Crosier said. "She was not
being held against her will."
