MAELISSA LARSON - 18 yo/Mentally challenged - Tigard (SW of Portland) OR

A mentally-challenged teen from Tigard has been
missing since Friday afternoon when she was kicked off a Max train in
Beaverton for not paying her fare.



Authorities say 18 year-old Maelissa
Larson has the mental capacity of someone many years younger. They
don't believe she's run away. Larson is said to be five-foot-one, 135

Tigard police are asking for the public's help in finding a missing
18-year-old woman who police said has the mental capacity of a 10 to
13-year-old.Officers said the parents of Maelissa Larson dropped
her off for work Friday at 7:30 a.m. at Hillsboro Stadium. She was
supposed to take the MAX home, but police said she may have been kicked
off the train at Millikan Way in Beaverton for not paying her fare.A
spokesman with the Washington County Sheriff's Office said Larson has
not disappeared before and it does not appear to be a runaway scenario.Larson
is described as white, 5 feet 1 inches tall and 135 pounds. She has
brown eyes and brown hair. She is believed to be wearing blue jeans and a
blue shirt and is expected to be carrying a black backpack.Anyone
with information on her disappearance is asked to call the Tigard
Police Department.

(TIGARD, Ore.) - Police say a tip from a citizen in Rhododendron late
this afternoon ultimately resulted in locating sixteen-year old
Maelissa Larson of Tigard.
