RAYMOND STROSINA - 16 yo (2009) - Waterford (SW of Milwaukee) WI

A Waterford woman who taught her son how to use
drugs has been sentenced to eight years in prison for causing the
overdose death of the 16-year-old.
Raymond Strosina died last September. His mother, 46-year-old
Patricia Strosina, pleaded no contest to contributing to the delinquency
of a child, causing death.
On Monday, Racine County Circuit Court Judge Charles Constantine
sentenced her to eight years in prison and 10 years extended supervision.
Witnesses told investigators she had used marijuana,
crack cocaine and heroin with her son, starting when he was 14 or 15.
Defense attorney Dirk Jensen says his client takes responsibility for
what she did, but that she has serious substance abuse and mental
health problems.
