Two years ago today Caylee had a wonderful day with her grandma Cindy. They loaded up and drove to Mt. Dora to see her great-grandma Shirley and her great-grandpa Alex. It was a special day – Father’s Day. Caylee went with her grandma Cindy to the nursing home where she sang songs, “read” her favorite book, and colored – and inadvertently, through her adorable personality, her cuddling hugs and her precious songs, gave both her great-grandpa and her grandma smiles and laugh. It is the gift of a toddler. The smallest things can bring smiles to our faces, laughter in our hearts.
Later in the day she would return to her great-grandma Shirley’s house where she would eat chili, play with g-grandma’s cat, and probably cause some toddler mischief before leaving for her home in Orlando where her Jo Jo, her Tilly and her Tinker were waiting for her.
