MELIEK SIMMONS - 3 yo - Orlando FL

Florida law enforcement authorities issued a Missing Child Alert for
Meliek Simmons, a 3-year-old black male who is 3 feet tall, 50 pounds,
and has black hair and brown eyes.
Florida Department of Law Enforcement issued the following additional
information:
- The child was last seen in the area of 5300 Block of Moxie
Boulevard in Orlando, wearing a gray shirt, gray and red plaid shorts,
and flip-flops.
- The child may be in the company of Calvin Reed, a black male, 49
years old, 5 feet 11 inches tall, 210 pounds, who is bald.
They may be traveling in a 1996 tan Sierra Oldsmobile, Florida tag
number W461PK.

I don't like the sound of this one. Who is Calvin Reed to Maliek? Is he the mothers or grandmothers boyfriend?

A 3-year-old who went missing, is back with his family tonight.
Meliek Simmons was found safe Sunday afternoon around 3 p.m. by a friend
of the family. Patricia Johnson says she found the child and his
uncle within walking distance of the home, at Old Wintergarten Road and
Silverton. She tells us they were in his tan Oldsmobile parked
on the side of the road. Meliek went missing at around 12 o'clock
Saturday afternoon, after he went along with his uncle to buy a lawn
mower part. When both failed to come home, the family called
police. Johnson says when she found the two, Reed looked disoriented and
three-year-old Meliek was in good spirits. "The baby was fine. What was
he doing. He had a little toy a piece of candy, I'm just happy to see
the officers there," Johnson said. Orlando police acknowledged,
the uncle, 49-year-old Calvin Reed, Sr. left the child sleeping in the
back seat of the car, while he went to go and buy crack cocaine. Reed is
now facing child neglect charges. Melieks mother Ciara Simmons,
was just thrilled to have her son back, "I feel great got my family and
my son."
