Wasilla AK ---- A mother is asking for help in locating her 15-year-old
daughter who’s been missing since June 18.

Diana Straub said her
daughter Darcy left the family home through her bedroom window angry
that she wasn’t allowed to spend the night at a friend’s house, Straub
said in an e-mail.

“I have not seen or heard from her since,” she
said. “I have not said anything because I thought she was just being a
rebellious teenager spending the night with a couple of friends and
would return in a few days.”
Because Darcy has had several friends take their own lives in the past year, Straub is worried about her daughter’s state of mind. She
believes her daughter had help leaving June 18 and is still in the area.

Anyone with information about or who has seen Darcy is urged to call Straub at 841-7245.

If you’ve still got your eyes peeled for a teen-aged girl who ran away
from home a couple weeks ago you can stand down.

Darcy Straub,
15, missing since June 18, is safe and sound and back at home, according
to an e-mail her mother, Diana Straub, sent early Wednesday morning.

"My
daughter has been extracted from the home of a friend and is safe and
sound. The Wasilla Police Department did an amazing job �- they used
every tool they had and maneuvered with unbelievable precision. I am so
proud of my police department," the elder Straub wrote.She also thanked everyone who lent a hand in her efforts to find her
daughter.
