AARON GAMEZ - 2 yo - Adelphi (N of DC) MD

Adelphi MD ---- Police have issued an AMBER alert
for 2-year-old Aaron Gamez.

Police believe he was abducted by his mother's ex-boyfriend, 22-year-old
Jose Alex Turcios, outside of the Mount Vernon Square Metrorail
station.



The boy is described as Hispanic, 3 feet 4 inches tall, weighting 40
pounds with curly black hair. He was last seen wearing a red shirt and
blue pants.
Turcios is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing 195 pounds. The
suspect has two tattoos, one that says "Lidia" on his neck and another
that says "Ice" on his forearm, and may be wearing a cream-colored shirt
and blue jeans.
Police believe the suspect may be driving a 1999 black Nissan Sentra
with Maryland tag 5FJ-E91.
If you have any information about this case police ask that you don't
take any action yourself but call 911.

A 2-year-old boy who was reported abducted Friday was found unharmed
Saturday afternoon.
Prince George's County police said Aaron Gamez of Adelphi was dropped
off by the suspect in front of a family member's home at about 2 p.m.
in the 6000 block of Rosedale Drive in Hyattsville. An AMBER Alert was
canceled.

Police said the suspect, Jose Alex Turcios, remains at large.

The child's mother told police the abduction occurred at about 4 p.m.
Friday in front of the Mount Vernon Metro Station. She told police
Turcios was her ex-boyfriend.

Turcios, 22, is about 5-foot-8 and 195 pounds. He has a tattoo on the
left side of his neck that reads "LIDIA" and another one on his right
forearm that reads "ICE." Police say that Turcios was last seen wearing
a cream colored shirt, blue jeans and wears his hair in a pony tail.
Police say the suspect drives a 1999 Nissan Sentra with Maryland
plates 5FJE91
