"John and Jane Doe" - 9 and 6 yo - Orlando FL

The Seminole County Sheriff's Office arrested two foster parents
Wednesday after allegations of horrific abuse to two children in their
care surfaced. Dwayne, 49, and Pamela Hardy, 46, are accused of
physically abusing, torturing and withholding food from two children
ages a 6 year old girl and a 9 year old boy.

According to the
arrest report, the children told investigators that they were sometimes
deprived food for several days and would sneak food out of a trashcan.
The children also said that they were made to do calisthenics as
punishment, and beaten with a paddle, wooden spoon, and a belt. In
the report the children said they were often hit on the palms of their
hands and spanked until they bled. The girl said she had received an
injury to her forehead because her mother, "popped", her on her head
with a wooden spoon. The boy said he was recently given a half of a sandwich to eat because his mother was punishing him for "not showing love". Investigators
had both children checked out by doctor’s who found injuries consistent
with the children’s stories. Detectives also said that among the
evidence they collected was a paddle that appeared to have dried blood
on it. Both Dwayne and Pamela Hardy were arrested Wednesday and
booked into the John E. Polk Corrections facility on two counts of
cruelty towards child, torture punish. Both received and posted a $7,100
bond and have been released. The two children were removed from the home and taken to a foster home.
