ALEXANDER LELAND TUCKER - 18 yo - Chesapeake VA

A freshman student from Chesapeake hasn't been seen on the Va. Tech campus since Monday night.
Tech officials say Alexander Leland Tucker, 18, was last seen around 11:00 p.m. in Brodie Hall residence hall on campus.



He didn't show up for morning formation at 5:00 a.m., Va. Tech Chief of Police Wendall Flinchum reported.
There's concern for him because he left without telling anyone - his
roommate, parents or friends -- where he was going," Chief Flinchum
stated, adding that at this point, there's no reason to suspect foul
play in Tucker's disappearance.
The University says Tucker is a mathematics major and is a member of
the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets. The Corps is also located in Brodie
Hall.
He's believed to be wearing white and blue running shoes.

Aug. 17--A Virginia Tech freshman reported missing this morning has been found safe, police said.
Alexander Leland Tucker, 18, of Chesapeake was reported missing after he failed to show up for the Corps of Cadets morning formation at 5 a.m. today, Tech police Chief Wendell Flinchum said.
Flinchum said police had no reason to believe Tucker was in danger but were concerned for his safety because he hadn't told anyone, including his parents, of any plans to leave.
Tucker was found about noon walking alone along a road in the Lusters Gate area of Montgomery County, a few miles from Tech's campus, Flinchum said.
