"Baby John" GILES - 3 Months - Martinsville (S of Roanoke) VA

A Martinsville man has been arrested and charged with two counts of felony child abuse.
Henry County investigators say the incident happened in this home, which led to the boy's father being arrested for child abuse.
Wednesday night they responded to a 911 call in the Axton area of Henry County on Stoney Mountain Road. Police say they found a 3 month old baby boy with a broken arm and he was taken to the hospital.

also say they discovered the baby had several fractured ribs from an
unreported incident three weeks earlier. According to police, the child
got the fractured ribs back on August 12th.
Investigators aren't releasing any other information on how exactly the boy got either of the injuries.
The boy's father, 20 year old Brandon Giles has been arrested and charged with two felony counts of child abuse. Giles was taken to the Henry County Jail where he is being held without bond.
The boy's mother, Sanie Bela, was not present when the abuse happened, and the infant also is no longer in her custody.
