Authorities say a 5-year-old Indiana boy missing since December has been found safe in Arizona.
The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office says Nathaniel Guequierre was located Monday in the Phoenix suburb of Buckeye as he was being placed inside a car by his mother, Mandy Holland.

Authorities believe Holland abducted her son, who disappeared from his grandparents' home in Goshen, Ind., on Dec. 1. They say Guequierre had been living with his grandparents after it had been determined his biological parents could not provide a suitable home for him. The grandparents hired a private investigator to help find the boy. Sheriff's detectives say Holland has been arrested and the boy placed in the care of Child Protective Services until he can be returned to his grandparents.
