Raleigh, N.C. — A missing 15-year-old girl from Oklahoma is believed to be in the Raleigh area, possibly with a man she met on the Internet, according to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.The group sent out an alert Friday asking for people in North Carolina to be on the lookout for Heather Lee Lewis, of Midwest City, OK.She is 5 feet 2 inches, 180 pounds with blond hair and blue eyes. Heather has pierced ears, and the ends of her hair were dyed black when she was last seen.The public is urged to call 1-800-THE-LOST (1-800-843-5678) with any information. Mother Says Daughter, 15, Has Been Found

MIDWEST CITY, Okla. -- A Midwest City mother's search for her 15-year-old daughter has ended, apparently, with some good news.Deborah Pleasant told Eyewitness News 5 early on Friday that she thinks her daughter, Heather Lee Lewis, ran away with a teenage boy and that she could be in danger. As of 5 p.m., Pleasant posted to her Facebook wall that "Heather's coming home! She's been found and coming home!"Eyewitness News 5 contacted Pleasant, but she declined comment.Pleasant said the last time anyone saw her daughter was at Midwest City High School on Sept. 13, soon before her daughter was noticed absent from a driver's education class.Pleasant said that earlier this year, Lewis met a teenage boy -- believed to be between 16 and 19 years old -- during a vacation in North Carolina. She said the two kept up communication online.She created posters with her daughter's picture and posted them all over Midwest City. She has also posted messages on Facebook."It's the not knowing," she said. "I mean, she's only 15."Midwest City police said they have no reason to believe Lewis is in any danger, but they are investigating. Authorities in North Carolina and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children also helped out.
