Pittsburgh police are searching for a missing teenager from Mintwood Street in Lawrenceville.Police said Shalyn Spencer, 17, was last seen with 22-year-old Stephen Edinger in the Spring Garden section of Pittsburgh's Northside.


Spencer is 5 feet 1 inch, 115 pounds, with brown hair, brown eyes and a light complexion.Police said Edinger, also known as Stephen Hazelett, has probation violation warrants.He is 5 feet 9 inches and weights 200 pounds.Police said Spencer may still be with Edinger.Anyone with information about Spencer's whereabouts has been asked to contact the Pittsburgh police missing persons unit at 412-323-714 or police headquarters at 412-323-7800.

UPDATED: 10:03 am EDT October 28, LAWRENCEVILLE, Pa. -- Police have located a teenager missing from Mintwood Street in Lawrenceville.Police started looking for Shalyn Spencer, 17, after she was last seen with 22-year-old Stephen Edinger in the Spring Garden section of Pittsburgh's Northside.Police said Edinger, also known as Stephen Hazelett, has probation violation warrants.On Thursday, police in New Bethlehem took both Spencer and Edinger into custody. Spencer was unharmed and returned to her home.Edinger was arrested on the outstanding warrant in New Bethlehem and was transported to the Allegheny County Jail.
