Local and state authorities are continuing to look for a Colbert County teenage girl who left the Attention Home last week, police said.
Florence Detective Keith Johnson said authorities are looking for Shariti Selman, 17, who hasn't been heard from since Oct. 24.

“We've exhausted every avenue at this point and we're turning to the public for help,” Johnson said.He said the girl has not been seen by or talked to any of her friends or family since she left the Attention Home.“She has family in the area but has not contacted them. So, at this point, we don't know if she is still in the area or has left,” Johnson said.Selman is described 5 feet 4 inches tall, 190 pounds with shoulder length dark hair.Anyone knowing anything about her whereabouts is asked to contact Florence police at 256-768-2728 or Shoals Area CrimeStoppers at 256-386-8685.
