After the discovery release of a letter by Curtis Jackson stating he knew both Tony Lazzaro and Casey Anthony, her attorney Cheney Mason called a national news program to publicly disseminate a statement.

We have learned Mr. Mason called into a nationally broadcast news program to state the letter released in discovery from Mr. Jackson contains no “truth”. We have learned Mr. Mason is concerned about the contents of this letter. Mr. Mason is so concerned he must tell a national audience of the “nut file” in which he keeps similar letters, even though the other letters were not released as part of discovery.

We have learned Mr. Mason wishes his audience to believe Mr. Jackson is a “nut”.

We have learned Mr. Mason fears what Mr. Jackson will be able to tell the court.
