Holly Mackenzie Ireland is a 17-year-old Crystal River teen whose mother reported her and all of her belongings missing from the family’s W. Waterwood Drive home on Saturday, Oct. 23, at around 7 p.m. Since then, her location has remained unaccounted for; however, detectives have reason to believe that the missing juvenile’s destination may have been the area of International Drive in Orlando.Holly is a white female, 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 130 pounds. She has brown eyes and long brown hair, which may have been dyed an auburn shade.With assistance from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, Sheriff’s Office detectives have been working with both the Orlando Police Department and the Orange County Sheriff’s Office to post fliers of the missing girl at area retail outlets, post offices, movie theaters, malls, bowling alleys, bus stations, convenience stores and governmental offices that deal with juveniles.Holly’s information has already been entered into the national database for missing persons. CRYSTAL RIVER - The Citrus County Sheriff's Office is continuing its search for a missing Crystal River teen.

CCSO detectives are hoping that someone may know the whereabouts of a female juvenile, a habitual runaway.

Holly Mackenzie Ireland, 17, was reported missing by her mother at
around 7 p.m. on Oct. 23, 2010 from the family's West Waterwood Loop
home.

Since then, her location has remained unaccounted for; however, at
one time, detectives had reason to believe that the missing juvenile’s
destination may have been the Orlando area.

Holly is a white female, 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 130 pounds.
She has brown eyes and long brown hair, which may have been dyed an
auburn shade. The teen also has multiple ear piercings.

With assistance from the National Center for Missing & Exploited
Children, Sheriff’s Office detectives have worked with both the Orlando
Police Department and the Orange County Sheriff’s Office to post fliers
of the missing girl at area retail outlets, post offices, movie
theaters, malls, bowling alleys, bus stations, convenience stores and
governmental offices that deal with juveniles.

CCSO detectives even visited a couple of locations in Orlando where
the teen may have been spotted, but were unable to find her. Holly’s
mother heard from her once by phone in February, but hasn’t seen her in
close to a year.

Holly’s information has already been entered into the national
database for missing persons. A local BOLO (be on the lookout) also was
issued.
