JMO but she shouldn't be allowed to wear all that makeup at 13. She looks a lot older.

A 13-year-old girl reported as a runaway on December 13 is still missing, prompting a wider search for the teen.
Police have asked for the public's help in locating Emily Ann Wicks.
Authorities said Humberto Lorenzo Corona of Irving and Todge Varsia
Thurman of Dallas, both 20, were the last to be seen with the teen. They
are currently in custody at the Irving jail charged with unlawful
restraint — but not with Emily's disappearance.
It was not clear whether the men were cooperating with investigators.
Penelope Wicks told News 8 her daughter was last seen at a basketball
game at Lamar Middle School last Monday. Wicks said Emily had wanted to
get a tattoo, and the man sitting behind her said he could help.
"He said, 'If you come with me, I'll give you a tattoo,' and Emily
got in the car with him and it's on school video surveillance," Wicks
said.
The security cameras showed Emily leaving the school with two men in a
sport utility vehicle. Her purse was discovered in the SUV.
"I think that she made a bad decision," Mrs. Wicks said. "She got in that vehicle and then something terrible happened to her."
According to an arrest warrant, Emily was brought to Corona's apartment, where his mother told News 8 the girl seemed fine.
"When a friend of theirs picked them up, the girl didn't look like she
was frightened or anything, so she wasn't held against her will," the
woman said.
But no one knows where Emily went from there.
Asked whether her son hurt the 13-year-old, Corona's mother said, "No, he did not."
The seventh-grader had no money, no phone, and now her parents have no clue as to where she might be.
"My gut tells me that we're going to find my child and bring her home
safe," said Emily's father, Larry Wicks. "I'll never give up hope."
Emily Wicks is described as a white female with blonde hair and blue eyes. She is 5'-4" tall and weighs 115 lbs.
Police said her disappearance does not meet the criteria for an Amber Alert.
"The Irving Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in locating her," said department spokesman John Argumaniz.

Emily Wicks, the 13-year-old Irving girl missing since last week, turned up at her home this morning. A woman who answered the phone at her home confirmed to Staff
Writer Tom Benning that the girl had returned and was OK. She
said Emily's parents couldn't speak with a reporter because they
were talking to a detective.
According to police, Emily had last been seen on the night of Dec.
13 leaving a basketball game at Lamar Middle School in Irving
with two men. Two
20-year-old men, Todge Varsia Thurman of Dallas and Humberto Lorenzo
Corona of Irving, were arrested in connection with her
disappearance. They are in the Irving jail, facing
unlawful-restraint charges.
Police said they are believed to be the two with whom she left Lamar
Middle School. She had been seen talking with them at the
basketball game, a police spokesman said, but investigators don't
know how well she knew them.

A 13-year-old girl who vanished from last week in the company of two older men showed up at her home around 5 a.m. Tuesday. Emily Ann Wicks was bruised and hysterical, but apparently safe. Wicks
was first reported as a runaway on Dec. 13 when she was seen willingly
getting into a car with two men after a basketball game at Lamar Middle
School. Witnesses said she had been admiring the men's tattoos, and they invited her to go with them so she could get a free tattoo. But on Monday, Irving police charged Humberto Lorenzo Corona and Todd Varsia Thurman, both 20, with unlawful restraint. They are now in the Irving City Jail. This
morning, Wicks' parents said their daughter told them those two men
gave her to another man. It's not clear if this third person is in
custody, or how Wicks managed to get free. "As to her condition
and what exactly occurred, we don't know at this point," said John
Argumaniz of the Irving Police Department. "We have a forensic
interview set up with her later this morning. After that interview, we
should know a lot more as to what took place while she was gone."

Emily Wicks, a 13-year-old girl missing since Dec. 13, returned home safe Tuesday morning.
NBC DFW's Julie Tam was outside Emily's home getting ready to report a live update when she
returned. The teenager was greeted at the front door by her father.
Wicks' mother, Penelope, said her daughter was dropped off by an unnamed
person at an Albertson's grocery store. But the girl didn't say what
city the store is in or how she got home from there, her mother said.
Her parents said they saw bruises on her but got no explanation of how she was hurt.
"I'm just glad she's home, and now we're going to find out what happened, and we're going to get
those people," her mother said. "And the police is going to take care of
it. I think it's because of the news that people saw her, and they let her go because of that."
Penelope Wicks said she was asleep when her daughter came home and crawled into bed with her. Her
daughter was crying and screaming, she said
The girl's parents asked her if she wanted to go to the emergency room, but she said no.
Suspect Apologizes in Jailhouse Interview
One of two men arrested in Wicks' disappearance said in a jailhouse interview that he met her at a basketball game.
Humberto Corona said Wicks left with him and a friend voluntarily.
He also apologized to her family.
"I'm sorry for what I did," Corona said. "If I could take it back, I would. But I can't."
He said Wicks stayed with him and a friend in an apartment overnight, and that she left the
following morning. He said Wicks was never abused.
"We didn't want to do with her no more, so we just let her go," Corona said. "We didn't think she
was going to stay missing for like eight days."
He said he knew police were looking for him and his friend and said he hid because he didn't want to go to jail.
Police said more charges are possible against Corona and Todge Thurman and other people.
Two Men Arrested in Connection With Girl's Disappearance
Two 20-year-old men were
arrested on charges of holding Emily Wicks against her will after she
disappeared from a middle school basketball game, police said.
Wicks, an honors student at Lamar Middle School, vanished Dec. 13.
Her family placed yellow balloons in their front yard Monday around a sign: "All we want for Christmas is Emily."
"We just want her," her father, Larry Wicks, said Monday. "That's all I care about."
"And if somebody has her, if they just let her go," her mother pleaded on Monday. "Just let her go."
Surveillance video shows that Emily Wicks voluntarily left the basketball game with the two men, police said.
Corona and Thurman were
arrested Friday and Saturday on charges of unlawful restraint and held
on $75,000 bond. (See the corrected arrest affidavit's for Corona and Thurman here.)
Both were being held in the Irving city jail Monday night.
It was unclear why Corona and Thurman would have been at the basketball game or if they had any connection to the school.
"I think she made a bad choice to get in the car, and then something horrible happened," Penelope Wicks said on Monday.
Her parents said one of the men lured her from the school by offering to give her a tattoo.
Irving police said Monday that investigators initially believed Emily simply ran away but later feared foul play.
