Shreveport Police looking for missing teen

Shreveport,
LA(KSLA)- Shreveport Police detectives need the public's help in
locating a teenager reported missing since Friday afternoon.
Fifteen year old Michael Owens was last seen
around 3:30 p.m. on February 3, 2011 near his home in the 5300 block of
Prentiss Avenue.
Michael is a light complexioned black male,
five feet eight inches tall with a thin build. He has brown eyes and
black hair and was last seen wearing a blue shirt and khaki pants.
Detectives are working with the youth's parents at this time to determine exactly what happened and where he might be.

Shreveport teen found; detectives investigating


UPDATE: Shreveport Police confirm that 15-year-old Michael Owens, who was reported missing this weekend, is at home safe with his parents.

His parents told police that the teen returned home tonight.

Investigators are still working to sort out the details surrounding the child's disappearance.
