A Megan's Law offender from Arizona is being held on charges he repeatedly raped a
12-year-old Lower Paxton Township girl while visiting her mother's apartment last year, township police say.
King S. Williams, 40, was arrested Friday in Tucson, Ariz. after
police here obtained a warrant charging him in the case. Police said
Williams is being held in Pima County Jail in Tucson awaiting
extradition. Pima County Jail records state he is being held in lieu of $100,000 bail.
According to police, Williams, who is a relative of the mother's
boyfriend, had sexual intercourse with the girl several times between
August and December of last year while he was a guest in the mother's
apartment. The girl told police about the incidents last month, prompting the investigation.
Police said Williams is a Megan's Law offender who fled California and is wanted there for a parole violation.
The California Megan's Law web site lists Williams' offense there as molesting children and
says he is a transient who has failed to register with authorities there since February 2010.
In the Lower Paxton Township case, Williams is charged with rape of a
child, indecent assault, corruption of minors and unlawful contact with a minor.
The U.S. Marshall's Fugitive Task Force assisted Lower Paxton Township police in the investigation and arrest.

Child rape charges filed after Arizona traffic stop

Lower Paxton Twp. Police have charged an Arizona man with numerous
charges including Rape of a Child for a series of incidents between
August and December of 2010. King Samuel Williams, 40 years of age, was
arrested on February 4th in Tucson, AZ pursuant to a warrant issued by
Magisterial District Judge Joseph Lindsey and is in the Pima County Jail
awaiting extradition to Pennsylvania. Police learned in January that
the victim, a 12-year-old Township female, had disclosed that Williams
had sexual intercourse with her numerous times during the aforementioned
time period at her Pennswood Apartments residence while he was a guest
there. Williams is a relative of the victim’s mother’s boyfriend.
Subsequent investigation revealed that Williams is a Megans Law
absconder from California and was wanted there for a Parole violation.
The U.S. Marshall’s Fugitive Task Force assisted in the investigation
and arrest. King Samuel Williams is charged with Rape of a Child
(Felony 1), Indecent Assault (Felony 3), Corruption of Minors (Felony 3)
and Unlawful Contact with a Minor (Felony 1).
