RCMP are appealing to the public for information to find a missing 15-year-old teen.

Samantha Roberts was last seen in West Kelowna on March 11 before leaving her residence.

Police say Roberts has not any communication with her family since then.

They believe she is staying with friends in the area.

Robert is 5’7” and approximately 110 pounds.
She is Caucasian and has dark brown shoulder-length hair and fair skin.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to contact West Kelowna RCMP.

April 18, 2011 - New developments in the case of a missing West Kelowna girl.

Cst. Steve Holmes says investigators have received information that 15 year old Samantha Roberts may be in the care of her birth parents.

She's been missing since March 11th.

Holmes says if the parents read this...

"Please bring her down to the detachment so we can see her and confirm she is alright."

Holmes says officers don not know the location of the parents but understand they may reside in Kelowna.

Roberts was last seen walking away from her home on March 11th.

RCMP: missing girl may be with parents

A West Kelowna teenager is still missing, but police say they might know where she is.

"The West Kelowna RCMP investigation continues with respect to the whereabouts of 15-year-old Samantha Roberts, who was reported missing on April 2," says RCMP Cst Steve Holmes.


Samantha Roberts, 15, has been missing since April 2
but police think she may be with her biological parents.

Roberts was reported missing after walking away from the residence of an interim guardian in West Kelowna.

Samantha's mother called Castanet to say her her daughter is not with her.

The RCMP had reported the teenage might be with her biological parents.

The mother says she does not know where her daughter is, but that she cares for her a great deal.

Holmes says the file is still being actively investigated and RCMP continue to seek the public's assistance in locating her.

Roberts is Caucasian, has dark brown shoulder length hair, fair skin, is 5'7", and 109 pounds.

West Kelowna RCMP update investigation of missing girl
April 19, 2011



West Kelowna RCMP say red flags are popping up as they investigate the whereabouts of a missing 15 year old girl.

Sgt. Carey Chernoff says mounties still believe the biological parents of Samantha Roberts possibly have her or know where she is, based on how uncooperative they've been during the investigation.

Chernoff says the Roberts are telling police, by phone, that Samantha is in a safe place.

"As an investigator, my first thought to that end is, I'm not sure how you can know or have any idea, unless you know where that place is."

Samantha Roberts was reported missing on April 2nd.

Chernoff says without going into detail, the Ministry has decided she should not be in the care of her parents at this time.

Samantha Roberts: LOCATED

April 20, 2011 - A West Kelowna teen reported missing earlier this month has been found.

Samantha Roberts walked into the West Kelowna detachment just after 3pm this afternoon and spoke with investigators.

She hadn't been heard from since walking away from her guardians home on the 1st.

There had been speculation that she may have been with her birth parents, but that was never confirmed.
