CLEARWATER, Fla. -- Prosecutors in the case against Casey Anthony dropped a bombshell Thursday evening -- they want jurors to smell for themselves exactly what the trunk of Anthony's car smelled like.
For days, prosecutor Linda Drane Burdick has been questioning jurors about their sense of smell and their sensitivity to strong odors.
At the conclusion of juror questioning Thursday afternoon, Perry inquired as to the line of questioning.
Drane Burdick revealed there are three unopened cans with samples in them from Anthony's trunk. A fourth can was opened by Dr. Arpad Vass, who tested the air.
