State wants jurors to smell Casey's trunk

The jury selection underway in Clearwater is giving some insight into how this case will unfold.
Prosecutors want the jury to sniff the putrid air from the accused child killer's car.
This is the theory the state is banking on. Prosecutors hope to present jurors with the smell from Casey's car so they can smell it for themselves.
Judge Perry cautions the smell evidence must be brought into trial carefully, so the jurors are not set up as witnesses.
"You're really asking them to become lay witnesses, but you may have some case," said Perry.
