(CBS/WKMG/AP) ORLANDO, Fla. - Casey Anthony's former best friend, Amy Huizenga, took the stand on Tuesday, the seventh day of Anthony's murder trial, to be cross-examined by the defense about her friendship with Anthony.

Her testimony followed that of Cindy Anthony, Casey's mother, reports CBS affiliate WKMG.

Huizenga testified about text messages she received from Anthony about a stench in her car, which Anthony believed might have come from the car striking a dead animal.

Huizenga told jurors that Anthony began staying with her on June 30, 2008. She said she assumed Casey Anthony had been staying with her boyfriend Tony Lazzaro before.
