Judge Strickland Orders Probation In Casey Case

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Judge Stan Strickland signed an order Monday that could require Casey Anthony to serve a year of probation for fraudulent check writing.

The Department Of Corrections spokeswoman said Anthony must report in person in Orange County within the next 72 hours.

"We are moving forward to make sure she is following the judge's orders," Gretl Plessinger said.

Plessinger said the department began proceedings to supervise Anthony's probation.

"We are working with her attorneys to move the process forward," she said.
