SAMUEL JOSE SCHAUFLER - 17 yo - Halifax/ So Boston VA

South Boston, VA – Police are looking for a young man who was last seen at the Halifax County High School November 8.

Police say Samuel Jose Schaufler is 17 years
old and is 5'8"tall, weighs about 165 lbs and has black hair, brown eyes
and a dark complexion.

He was last seen wearing a gray hoodie, blue jeans and black sneakers.

Halifax Co., VA – The parents of a missing 17-year-old teen are hoping community members will help officials find their son.
Sam Schaufler has been missing for more than
a week, and the trail is cold for investigators. The only thing they
have to go on is that was last seen on November 8 walking away from
Halifax County High School.

Sam's mother and father say they're shaken because police have no leads and no answers.

And with Thanksgiving right around the
corner, they say the holidays without him would be unbearable. The
parents say they wait for him every day, watching from their front
porch, hoping he'll come down their driveway.

But since his disappearance, there's been no word or sight of Sam.

"It's like a nightmare, that you're going to
wake up from and it's all going to be better because we don't know if
he's safe, if he's warm, if he has eaten," said Susan Schaufler, the
mother.

Police say Schaufler was last seen wearing a gray hoodie.

Halifax Co.,
VA - A Halifax County teen who was missing for more than two weeks is
spending Thanksgiving at home with his family.

Seventeen-year-old Sam Schaufler was missing for over two weeks.

The teen went missing in early November.

His family says he returned home Wednesday afternoon.

Schaufler was living in the woods after
police began investigating him in connection with a robbery. He is no
longer connected to that crime.
