A 10-year-old East Orange girl who was missing since Thursday morning has been found safe and in good health tonight at the home of a relative, city officials said.

Infiniti Parker had walked out of her school Thursday morning after
an argument with her foster mother the night before, triggering an
extensive search that involved the FBI, officials said.


Parker was found just before 7 p.m. today with the relative and was
taken into police custody, said Sgt. Andrew DiElmo, a police spokesman.


"She is safe, she is healthy and in the custody of law enforcement
authorities in East Orange," city spokesman Darryl Jeffries said. "I
can’t discuss any further details because of the ongoing investigation
into the circumstances surrounding her disappearance."


Parker is expected to be returned to her foster mother, Jeffries said.
