HAYDEN LANE POTTER - 2 yo - Mannford OK

Authorities are asking the public to help locate a child reported missing from Mannford today.


Hayden Lane Potter, 2, was last seen with his grandmother, Phyllis Potter, in Mannford today, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported. Phyllis Potter has mental stability issues and may be off her medication, troopers said.The Potters are thought to be in a 17-foot U-Haul truck and headed to Ada or McAlester, the patrol reported. Phyllis Potter is not allowed to leave alone with Hayden.Officials think the truck was near Avant about 2:40 p.m.Authorities ask anyone who sees the Potters to call 911 or Mannford police at (918) 865-4141.

An Amber Alert was canceled Wednesday night after a missing boy and his grandmother were found in Kansas.

Mannford
Police had issued the alert, because they say 2-year-old Hayden Potter
was taken from his home by his grandmother between 1 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.
Wednesday afternoon.
The boy's grandmother, Phyllis Potter, was driving 17 ft. U-Haul truck with Arizona license plate number AB83037.

Detectives used cell phone towers to narrow down Potter's location to east of southeast of Jayvine Hill Road in Avant.

Detectives
say that's in the opposite direction from McAlester where Potter
claimed to be taking her grandson to see his father. Potter said her
son, 37-year-old Billy Potter was release from prison in McAlester
today. Officials say Billy Potter is still incarcerated.

Detectives say Phyllis Potter has mental issues and is possibly off her medication.
