HAYDEN and KAILEY STEWART - 10 and 5 yo - Fairfield CA

FAIRFIELD, CA. - Two children were abducted by their mother from Fairfield Friday around 6:30 p.m., said police.
Solano County sheriff's deputies believe the children were taken by
their mother, Elmeran Stewart, 40, a.k.a Casondra Stewart. She a white
woman with brown hair and brown eyes, weighs 145 pounds and is 5'5"
tall. She was last seen wearing a pink t-shirt and black leggings.
The children were last seen around Monte Vista Court at Rockville
Road before they were taken by Stewart to buy milk at the local market
and never returned, said Lt. Gary Faulkner.


Faulkner said the mother had been behaving oddly and looking into ways to harm her children on the Internet.
The two children taken:
Kailey Stewart, 5, has blond hair, blue eyes, is 3 feet tall and
weighs 40 pounds. She was last seen wearing unknown colored striped
shirt and black leggings.
Hayden Stewart, 10, has blond hair, blue eyes, is 4 feet tall and
weighs 70 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue jacket and blue jeans.
Stewart is said to be driving a 1992 red Toyota Corolla with numerous
dents and a different color red hood. The car has California license
plates 4YBN892.
The California Emergency Digital Information Service has issued a
child abduction alert to get help from the public to locate the
children.

Missing Fairfield children, mother found at Travis Air Force Base

Boy, 10, and girl, 5, allegedly taken by mother a day earlier

FAIRFIELD - Two children were found in good condition Saturday night a day after they disappeared with their mother.

Elmeran Casondra Stewart, 41, of Fairfield left her house on Monte
Vista Court near Rockville Road with Hayden Stewart, 10, and Kailey
Stewart, 5, at about 6:30 p.m. and told her husband she was taking them
to buy some milk, Solano County Sheriff's Office Lt. Gary Faulkner said
in a statement released Saturday.

Stewart did not return, and the husband contacted police at about 8 a.m. Saturday, Faulkner said.

Stewart had been exhibiting odd behavior and may have been looking up ways on the Internet to hurt her children, Faulkner said.
The state Emergency Digital Information Service has issued an alert for the children's abduction.

At about 8 p.m. Saturday, deputies received a call from the officials at Travis Air Force Base, Faulkner said.

The officials told deputies they were in contact with the three missing Stewarts at their main gate, Faulkner said.
Investigators responded to air base and confirmed their identities. All three appeared to be in good condition, Faulkner said.

The case is ongoing, and Faulkner did not reveal a motive or other details Saturday night.
