The Clarksville Police Department and Tennessee Bureau of Investigations
are seeking information related to a missing 15-year-old girl.
Krista Elizabeth Merry was last seen Friday, March 5.


Krista, who is white, has black hair, hazel eyes and
is 5-foot-5. She was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and gray sweat
pants.Anyone with information on Krista's whereabouts is
urged to contact CPD at 931-221-3246.

Police in Clarksville are searching for a
15-year-old girl who has been missing for 10 days.
On March 5, Krista Merry stayed home sick from school. Her aunt said
when she returned home from work, Krista was gone.Investigators
said they think Krista may have run away from home and do not believe
foul play is involved.“We’re trying to be hopeful that everything
will turn out OK. We’re trying so hard, but we do fear the worst,”
said the missing teen’s aunt, Stephanie Wall-Baggett.Police said
Krista packed a suitcase, and they believe she left on her own free
will.A few months ago, Wall-Baggett said she caught Krista
chatting with older men on an Internet dating service. She said the
teen also took her laptop with her after leaving home.“We tried
to get her to understand exactly how dangerous it was and how bad things
do happen,” said Wall-Baggett.Clarksville police detective
Detective Brad Crowe searched Krista's room, and found two pieces of
paper, one of them shredded. On the paper, Krista wrote a bus stop address and
a schedule.“The departure time and the arrival time that she had
written on this note would correspond to buses going to one
of two locations, either Chicago or Knoxville,” said Crowe.Police
are also analyzing Krista's phone records in hopes of locating her.
She has black hair, hazel eyes and is 5 feet 5 inches.The public
is urged to call the Clarksville Police Department if they can help in
the case.
