ASHLEY JOHNSON - 15 yo - Grand Island/Buffalo NY

Erie County Sheriff’s deputies are searching for a missing 15-year-old girl who
was last seen near Grand Island High School at about 2:30 p. m. Wednesday and
may be with an adult male, according to police.



Police are searching for Ashley Johnson, described as a white female,
5-foot-3, 145 pounds with red hair and blue eyes. Anyone with information about
her whereabouts is asked to contact Sheriff’s officials at 716.858.2903.

The search is over for a missing Grand Island teenager. A
spokesperson for the Erie County Sheriff's Department confirmed that
15-year-old Ashley Johnson of Grand Island has been found safe. She
was found with her boyfriend, 29-year-old John Douglas at his
ex-girlfriend's house. She had been last seen on Wednesday, March
17 near Grand Island High School and police believed she may had been
with Douglas.

A 15-year-old girl from Grand Island who
disappeared last Wednesday has been found, unharmed.

According to a press release from the Erie County Sheriff's Department,
Ashley Johnson was located at a home in the Village of Kenmore around
ten o'clock Saturday morning. Johnson's family had reported her missing
after she failed to return home from school on Wednesday afternoon.

Investigators say the family was particularly concerned because Johnson
had been receiving "inapprorpriate text messages" from a 29-year-old man
who lives in Kenmore.

Deputies arrested 29-year-old John Douglas II and 34-year-old Deadra
Berg in connection with Johnson's disappearance. Douglas and Berg are
both charged with Second-Degree Custodial Interference, Endangering the
Welfare of a Child and Obstructing Governmental Administration.

Douglas is facing an additional Endangering the Welfare of a Child
charge, which relates to the text messages he sent to Johnson.
