is searching for a woman who may be suicidal and is on the road with her
two young children.25-year-old Patricia Lyons has two children,
Athena Lyons, 5, and two-and-a-half-year-old Ronnie Adams.


Both children
are wards of the state but had returned to Patricia under court ordered
restrictions which Patricia violated Saturday when she was involved in a
domestic violence assault.Police went to arrest Patricia for 2nd
Degree Assault after that altercation on Saturday but they have not
been able to locate either her or her children. CPS, learning of the
assault charge, has issued a separate order demanding the children be
returned back to state supervision.Spokane Police say that
Patricia Lyons is on the run, not “in a healthy mental state” and “may
be suicidal.” As such CPS and Spokane Police are both concerned that the
children may be in harm’s way.Patricia Lyons is described as
being 5’6” with brown hair, brown eyes and weighs 150 pounds. She is
possibly driving a Chevy Lumina with Washington license plate #229XWX.Athena
Lyons is five-years-old, 43” inches tall and approximately 52 pounds.
Ronnie Adams is two-and-a-half-years-old, three feet tall and
approximately 32 pounds.If anyone has any information on their

Police searching for Patricia Lyons
may have gotten a break in the case Wednesday when she called her
ex-boyfriend to tell him she was in California.Lyons, 26, has
been wanted by both the police and CPS since last Saturday when she took
off with her two young children who are wards of the state and fled the
area.The incident which precipitated her fleeing the area
happened on Saturday during a confrontation with Ronald Adams, her
ex-boyfriend and father to her youngest child Ronnie.“I really do
wanna see my kid. I love Ronnie to death, I love him a lot,” Ronald
said Wednesday afternoon.Patricia Lyons has his son Ronnie and
Ronnie’s half sister five-year-old Athena. Lyons left town with them
after the confrontation with Adams last weekend.“I go in, unload a
bag of groceries, come back out and she's down there stabbing my
tires,” Adams recalled. “So I grab her I pull her away from it, then she
stabs me right here, she takes off running, '’You'll never see those
kids again’,” he said.Up until Tuesday neither Lyons nor her two
children had been seen and her whereabouts were unknown.Police
confirmed Wednesday that she had been in Portland, Oregon on Tuesday,
when she was spotted on a surveillance camera. But since then there has
been no other information about where she might be. That is until
Wednesday afternoon when Lyons called him.Adams asked where she was and
how the kids were doing and where they kids were at that moment.“So
you're out of Washington right now? California already huh, I think I
saw you on the news last night,” Adams told Lyons over the phone.And
then the father, wanting his son to come home safely, made a plea to
his ex-girlfriend.“Why don't you just turn yourself in?” he
asked. “She hung up on me.”

determined the incident violated court restrictions, and her 5-year-old
daughter, Athena Lyons, and 2-year-old son, Ronnie Adams, are to return
to state custody. But police can’t find Lyons, and they think she may
have left town not knowing she’d lost custody of her children, said
Officer Jennifer DeRuwe. “That’s why it didn’t make it to an
Amber Alert,” DeRuwe said. Lyons canceled counseling appointments
and told her employees at her daughter’s school “that she is moving out
of state,” police said Wednesday. Lyons “is not in a healthy
mental state” and the children may be at risk, police said. She
may be driving a white Chevy Lumina with Washington license plates 229
XWX. Anyone with information on Lyons should call 911.

say Lyons had recently enrolled her. Police found Lyons at a
motel with her son. No arrest warrant had been issued in Spokane County,
so Lyons was no arrested. Officers are coordinating her return to
Spokane, said Officer Jennifer DeRuwe.Police think Lyon may have
left town before she knew she’d lost custody of her children.“That’s
why it didn’t make it to an Amber Alert,” DeRuwe said.
