"Infant Jane Doe" - 16 months - Zanesville (E of Columbus) OH

Zanesville OH ---- A woman found guilty of two counts of child endangerment
earlier this year was sentenced to four years in prison this morning.
Heather White could have received a maximum of eight years in prison
for the charges, which stem from an incident in 2007 that sent her
16-month-old stepdaughter to Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus
with four fractures in her left leg and multiple bruises and scrapes to
her face, neck, arms and abdomen.White testified during
the trial the child fell off a couch.She was released on a
$100,000 cash, surety or property bond in March. She was placed on
house arrest at her expense and ordered to have no contact with children
younger than 13. She previously had been held in the Muskingum County
Jail.
