Police detectives in Niagara Falls are looking for tips and leads in the case of a missing teen.
Jacqueline "Jackie" Sebring was last seen by her mother at their 4th Street home on Saturday, October 16.
"She left the house, and she left a note saying she was 'off to see the world,' and she hasn't been heard from since," Niagara Falls Police Lt. Michael Trane reports.



Police have interviewed Sebring's friends and family in the days since she disappeared, but no one has seen or heard from her.
"It's very out of character for her," Trane says. "There's no indication of foul play, or necessarily a crime being involved at this time, but nothing to suggest why she would do such a thing, either."
According to a police report, it's possible that Sebring may have gone to Florida to see her former employer.
"Unfortunately, all the leads in this area have been exhausted," Trane says, "So unless there's a friend or relative hiding her... we don't have any idea where she might be."
Jacqueline Sebring is a white female, 17 years old. She's about 5'7'' and weighs approximately 170 pounds. She has red hair, brown eyes, and several piercings on her lip, tongue, and cheek.

NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WIVB) - A Niagara Falls family who were searching for their missing 17-year-old daughter reports she has returned home safe. Jacqueline (Jackie) Sebring's family told News 4 that Jackie came home early Sunday morning. She was reported missing on Saturday, October 16. Her mother, Karin Sebring, told police that after her daughter left the house, she found a note stating Sebring was "off to see the world."
