The State Law Enforcement Division is looking for a Clemson area girl who was abducted Wednesday night.Authorities have issued an Amber Alert for 12-year-old Julieta Yoselin. She was last seen at a CVS parking lot on Highway 76 in Clemson around 10:30 Wednesday night.SLED agents say she was abducted by 26-year-old Jesus Lozada and that the pair may be headed for Georgia.

Julieta Yoselin is 4-feet tall, weighs 85 pounds, has brown eyes and shoulder-length black hair. Investigators say Yoselin was last seen wearing black calf-length boots, black tight pants and black shirt with a "Scream" mask logo on it.

They describe the suspect, Lozada, as 6-feet tall, 190 pounds with short black hair. CLEMSON —A missing 12-year-old Clemson girl may be in the Atlanta area, Clemson Police Chief Jimmy Dixon said Thursday.Julieta Yoselin was last seen around 10:30 p.m. Monday with a man in the parking lot of a CVS store off U.S. 76 in Clemson, according to police reports. There were no surveillance images from the pharmacy’s parking lot, Dixon said.

Julieta was last seen wearing black calf-length boots, black pants and a black shirt with the image of a white “Scream” mask on it.An arrest warrant has been issued for Jesus Aldana Lozada, 26, also known as Jesus Lozada Aldana, Dixon said Thursday afternoon. Lozada is suspected to be with the girl, he said.Lozada is about 6 feet tall, weighs about 190 pounds and has short black hair and brown eyes. He could be driving a tan Honda Accord with a South Carolina license plate DAT461. Lozada is a friend of the Yoselin family, Morgan said.Lozada has family in the Atlanta area, Dixon said, and his investigators believe that Lozada is no longer in South Carolina.“We feel that he has crossed the state boundary lines,” Dixon said.An FBI statement issued Thursday said that Julieta Yoselin is in "extreme danger" and Lozada may be headed to Mexico.Lozada’s last address was in the Seneca area.Dixon said that Lozada had packed up all of his belongings as if he was moving while Julieta left with only the clothes she was wearing.“We don’t know if she went to meet him willingly or unwillingly,” Dixon said. “But the fact that she didn’t take any type of clothing means she didn’t plan on staying away for any amount of time.”According to reports from Independent-Mail coverage partner WSPA Channel 7, police believe Julieta sneaked out of her parents’ house Monday evening.An Amber alert was triggered in the case 1 a.m. Thursday, about 49 hours after Julieta was last seen.Dixon said that certain conditions need to be met before issuing an Amber alert.Those conditions include believing that the child has been abducted rather than having run away, having sufficient information to release to the public, believing that the child could be in danger and having the information sent to national databases, according to the criteria set by the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division.Dixon said that while the Amber alert was not issued immediately, his officers have been doggedly investigating leads since they were first involved Monday.Dixon’s officers are working with the Greenville FBI office and the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division, along with police agencies in the Atlanta area.Lozada has a minor police record with open intoxication and traffic offenses, but no violent or serious crimes, Dixon said.“We would tell people to be very vigilant and let us know if you see anything, anything similar to Lozada or Julieta or the car.”Dixon said people can call the South Carolina CrimeStoppers tipline at 1-888-CRIME-SC or his department at (864) 624-2000.

CLEMSON, S.C. -- Early Friday morning SLED canceled the AMBER alert for 12-year-old Julieta Yoselin.

Authorities also said they captured the man accused of kidnapping her, Jesus Aldano Lozada.

Investigators said they found the two at a home near Atlanta after receiving a tip that Lozada's car had been spotted in the home's driveway.

A transport team from the Clemson Police Department has gone to Atlanta to pick up Yoselin and bring her back to the upstate.

She is said to be in good condition.

Lozada is being held at the Fulton County Detention Center, he is expected to face kidnapping charges.

It's a case that crossed state borders and had investigators believing it could've been headed all the way to Mexico.Yet, this morning the search for a kidnapped South Carolina child from Clemson has been found in Atlanta, Georgia.According to the Clemson Police Department, 12 Year Old Julieta Yoselin was taken from Pickens County on Monday, after officials say she and a friend snuck out of her apartment around 8:30 Monday night.Officials say it's the walk home, where something went wrong for the two girls.The pair ran to a nearby parking lot after they thought someone was following them, and when one of the girls turned around, 12 year old Yoselin was gone.And even though investigators had to deal with a tough language barrier, detectives along with the F-B-I pushed forward interviewing family and friends, looking for clues as to what happened to Yoselin.Then, around 12:30 Friday morning, agents from the Atlanta, Georgia FBI office Yoselin found Yoselin at a home near suburban Atlanta, with 26 year old, Jesus Lozada Aldana.Aldana is being held in a Fulton County Detention Center where he faces charges of Kidnapping.Yoselin was found in good condition and was transported back to Clemson, where she will then be turned over to her Father.

Published: November 19, 2010 Clemson, SC -- Police say Jesus Lozada Aldana, a suspect in a Clemson kidnapping, may be back in the Upstate to face charges Monday.Aldana is in Fulton Detention Center and may waive extradition, officials say.If he does, it’ll speed up the process to get him back to Clemson to face charges.Police issued an AMBER alert Thursday for Aldana and a 12-year-old girl he’s accused of kidnapping.He was arrested early Friday morning by FBI agents in a suburb of Atlanta after someone spotted Aldana’s car.Agents say there is evidence he removed the tag from his car and backed it up to the house to try and avoid recognition.Police say the girl is "clean, healthy, but mentally confused."They said they interviewed the girl briefly, but did not want to drain her to much. They say her first question was "Where is my father?"Police say they are looking into additional charges against Aldana and federal kidnapping charges could be pursued in conjunction with local FBi and the U.S. Attorney.The girl was reported missing Monday night. Police began investigating Tuesday. The man accused of kidnapping a 12-year-old Clemson girl last week and triggering a statewide Amber Alert appeared in an Atlanta courtroom Tuesday.


Jesus Lozada Aldana was arrested in Atlanta on Friday after Clemson police said he took Julieta Yoselin about 10:30 p.m. Nov. 15.A friend of Yoselin told police that they were walking down U.S. Highway 76 in Clemson when they felt that a car was following them. The friend told police that the two ran behind the CVS Pharmacy at the Intersection of Highway 76 and U.S. Highway 123, then they became separated.Another witness told police he saw the children run across Highway 76, and then saw a gray or silver four-door, compact car make a U-turn on the same road.Yoselin was located around 12:30 a.m. Friday near Atlanta, according to Clemson police. They said the man she was with, Aldana, was arrested on a kidnapping charge.On Tuesday, Aldana told a Fulton County, Ga., judge that he would waive extradition. The judge said that Clemson police would have 15 days to pick up Aldana and take him back to South Carolina or he would be set free.
