"Baby Jane Doe" - 1 yo (Accused/Wanted: Christopher Saldivar) - Bakersfield CA

The Bakersfield Police Department said it's looking for a man who is accused of breaking the leg of a 1-year-old child.Police
said the mother of a 1-year-old girl left her home on Dec. 16 to take
her niece to school, leaving her child in the care of the mother’s
boyfriend.When she arrived home, she told police that she found her child crying and the infant’s right leg was swollen.The
mother took the infant to the hospital and the medical examination
revealed the infant had a fractured right femur and other injuries
consistent with child abuse, Detective Blaine Craig said.The
investigation by detectives with the department’s Child Abuse and Sexual
Assault Unit determined that the boyfriend was responsible for the
infant’s injuries, Craig said.



The boyfriend, 28-year-old
Christopher Saldivar, is described as Hispanic and is said to be 6 feet
tall, weighing 200 pounds with black receding hair and brown eyes.
Saldivar has a tattoo of a heart containing the name “Karina” on his
left bicep.The Bakersfield Police department is asking for the
community’s assistance in locating Saldivar, who is wanted on charges of
felony child abuse.Anyone with information on Saldivar’s whereabouts is urged to call Detective Herman Caldas at 661-326-3556.
