| Darlington mother charged with neglect after newborn hurt |
Darlington police charged Niosha Latrice Kelly, 27, with unlawful neglect of a child.Officers say she called 911 saying her 17-day-old baby fell off the couch at her home on Limit Street Sunday morning.The baby is being treated for a skull fracture at the hospital, but is said to be stable.Police who responded say Kelly had been drinking. They arrested her and removed her three other children from the home. The children are in the custody of the Department Of Social Services.Police say this investigation is ongoing.
