Police Search For Missing 11-Year-Old In Greene County

GREENE COUNTY, Pa. -- Police are searching for a missing sixth-grader in Nemacolin, Greene County.

Andrea Bane, 11, left for school Thursday morning but did not make it to the bus stop, according to investigators.

The girl's family said she would never run away.

Police said Bane was last seen wearing a zip-up hooded sweatshirt, gray pajama pants and carrying a pink and brown book bag.

Hello Ms. XXXXX,

According to our local daily newspaper, Andrea was found and is safe. She technically was not “missing”; she missed her bus and went into the woods behind her house and was found by the Carmichaels police. She was gone for maybe an hour.
