BELL (KTLA) -- Bell police officials say they have located a 16-year-old girl whose family allegedly received threatening text messages during her weeklong disappearance.

Yvonna Martinez was reported missing a week ago Sunday after spending the night at a friend's house in Inglewood.

Her mother says she received text messages threatening her daughter's life.

Police on Monday morning would only say that the teen "has been located." Her condition and location was not known.
