A man accused of abducting a girl from a high school in Palm Bay was arrested at Melbourne Square Mall on Friday.An Amber Alert was issued after the abduction at Bayside High School on Friday morning.Authorities
with the Palm Bay Police Department released no information on the
16-year-old female victim, but they said they were looking for a black
man, 5 feet 5 inches tall, with dreadlocks and purple pajama-type pants.Investigators said the victim was dragged from the school and
forced into the van. The van later crashed along U.S. Highway 192 at the
mall.The mall was placed on lockdown while a search was completed.Authorities said the girl was not seriously hurt.

A man who police believe abducted a teen girl in Palm Bay has been arrested, WFTV learned Friday morning.Police
said the girl, Karim McDonald, was found after she was kidnapped from a
Brevard County high school Friday, by a man from out-of-state. An Amber
Alert was issued.McDonald is a 10th grader at Bayside High School in Palm Bay, police said.K-9
units and investigators were at the Melbourne Square Mall where they
made the arrest. Witnesses said the man went into mall by himself.Officers have not released the suspect's name.
