Weare Police Search For 3 Missing Children

Children Last Seen Friday In Mother's Custody

WEARE, N.H. -- Police in Weare have issued an alert for three children.Officers said Jacob, Kathryn and Kelly Knight were last seen Friday with their mother, 51-year-old Cheryl Maher, 51.

Detectives said Maher is possibly driving a blue 2002 Honda Accord with a New Hampshire license plate of 273 0069.

Investigators said Maher was last known to be living in Arizona. Police said the children’s father reported them missing.

Officers said Jacob is 10 years old, 5 feet tall with brown hair and brown eyes.Kathryn and Kelly are 15-year-old twins and have high-functioning autism, police said.

Kathrn is 5 feet 9 inches tall with shoulder-length brown hair and brown eyes.

Kelly is 5 feet 10 inches tall with shoulder-length brown hair and brown eyes.

Maher is 5 feet 9 inches tall with long, dark brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information about their whereabouts is asked to call 911 immediately.

were located safe at a home in Salem, and Salem police were at that
home with the children on Sunday night.Weare police said Maher was charged with three counts of interfering with child custody.Police
said Maher was visiting from Arizona and the children were supposed to
stay with her for the weekend. But when the children weren't returned
to their father by 5 PM Sunday, he reported them missing.
